Khwab-e-Mussawiri: Season 2 – Scarlett Dreams
The Season Two of Dubai’s Most Premium Red-Themed Art Exhibition Unfolds at Picasso Art Gallery
Dubai witnessed a spectacular confluence of art, culture, and global creativity as Sagar’s Art Stream unveiled the much-anticipated Khwab-e-Mussawiri: Season 2 – Scarlett Dreams, a red-themed international art exhibition held at Picasso Art Gallery, Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz from 1st to 3rd November 2025.
Carrying forward the legacy of Season 1, which made waves in India and the UAE, Scarlett Dreams stood as a testament to how art transcends boundaries — uniting emotions, artists, and audiences from India, Dubai, France, and the Philippines under one powerful theme — RED — a colour symbolizing passion, strength, and unyielding spirit.

A Grand Opening: Where Prestige Met Passion
The inaugural evening on 1st November 2025 marked a defining moment in Dubai’s evolving art landscape. Curated with meticulous vision by Romendra Sagar, Pupul Sagar Pushkarna, and Vikram Rawal, the event brought together an extraordinary lineup of 57 artists whose works reflected emotion, culture, and individuality.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by esteemed special guests, including:
- Mr. Kenneth Jim Joseph Jimeno, Philippine Vice Consulate in Dubai,
- Mr. Ahmed Al Awadhi Rukni, Visionary Businessman, Entrepreneur & Eminent UAE Artist, and
- Mr. Anjini Prakash Laitu, Renowned Global Artist & Colourman of Dubai,
along with Mr. Brice D’Souza, Senior Property Consultant, Dubai, who shared their insights and encouragement for the global art community.
As the gallery doors opened, the atmosphere was electric — a full house of art collectors, connoisseurs, media, and enthusiasts eager to witness the second season of one of the most prestigious group art exhibitions in Dubai.
Each artwork, carefully selected through Sagar’s Art Stream’s rigorous curation process, was personally introduced to the guests by the curators, ensuring every participating artist received meaningful exposure and recognition.

A Red Dream in Motion
The theme “Scarlett Dreams” celebrated the emotional and symbolic depth of the colour red — from passion and courage to the energy of creation.
The gallery came alive with canvases painted in hues of crimson, vermilion, and maroon — each narrating a unique story of its creator.
Every corner of the Picasso Art Gallery was curated with precision — soft lighting, minimalist décor, and a thoughtfully arranged layout that allowed visitors to engage deeply with each piece. Visitors were seen pausing, reflecting, and connecting emotionally with the art, many engaging in conversations with the artists themselves.
Sagar’s Art Stream, known for its experiential approach, made sure that Scarlett Dreams was not just an exhibition — it was an experience of red in its most poetic form.

An Exhibition Beyond Borders
One of the key distinctions of Sagar’s Art Stream lies in its approach to cross-cultural storytelling through art.
Unlike conventional exhibitions, every participant in Khwab-e-Mussawiri is handpicked not only for artistic merit but also for their potential to represent diverse perspectives and identities.
The exhibition featured works ranging from expressive abstracts to surreal narratives and modern interpretations — seamlessly blending traditional Indian techniques with global influences. The presence of artists from France, the UAE, and Ukraine added a cosmopolitan layer to the show, making it a truly international art event rooted in collaboration and creativity.

A Thoughtfully Curated Experience
At the inauguration, guests were personally welcomed by curators Pupul Sagar Pushkarna and Vikram Rawal, who guided them through each section of the exhibition. The evening began with a ceremonial ribbon cutting, followed by a walkthrough of the collection — where each painting was introduced in context, highlighting its concept, technique, and inspiration.
The founders’ vision has always been to ensure that every artist feels seen and celebrated — a principle reflected in the way each artwork was discussed with the attending dignitaries, media, and collectors.
Following the preview, guests were treated to high tea and refreshments, offering the perfect ambiance for interaction between the artists and patrons. The discussions flowed naturally — from the evolving role of art in global culture to the importance of creating sustainable creative platforms.

Day 2 and Day 3: The Momentum Continued
Over the next two days, Khwab-e-Mussawiri: Season 2 continued to draw a large number of visitors — from established collectors and young art enthusiasts to tourists exploring Alserkal Avenue’s cultural district.
Live interviews with artists such as Nadia from Ukraine, Dr. Shefali from Hyderabad, Jitavati Das from Kolkata, and Nikita Jain from Dehradun were conducted by the media team, giving global audiences an inside look into their creative journeys.
Every visitor experienced a guided walkthrough, ensuring that the essence of each painting was conveyed with depth and sincerity — a hallmark of Sagar’s Art Stream’s exhibition philosophy.

The Sagar’s Art Stream Ideology
What makes Sagar’s Art Stream distinct is its commitment to elevating artists, not merely showcasing them. Founded with the vision of bridging global art communities, Sagar’s Art Stream offers a platform that blends marketing excellence, curatorial depth, and international collaboration.
Through each project, co-founders Romendra Sagar, Pupul Sagar Pushkarna, and Vikram Rawal ensure that the participating artists gain measurable recognition — from press coverage and professional photography to digital presence and global networking.
As Vikram Rawal aptly stated,
“Art deserves to be presented with the same passion with which it’s created. Every artist we select becomes part of a larger story — one that we carry beyond borders.”
Pupul Sagar Pushkarna, known for her sharp curatorial eye, adds,
“Our exhibitions are designed not just to display, but to engage — each artist, each guest, and each moment is curated to create a dialogue that lasts beyond the event.”
A Platform of Prestige and Purpose
The response to Scarlett Dreams reaffirmed that Sagar’s Art Stream has become synonymous with prestige, curation, and credibility. The meticulous selection process, limited participation, and the focus on creating high-value experiences have positioned it as a leading curator-driven platform in Asia and the Middle East.
The exhibition’s success in Dubai is not just a milestone but a reflection of how Indian and global art can co-exist beautifully in an international setting, representing the power of cultural unity and creative collaboration.
A Red Finale
As the exhibition concluded on 3rd November 2025, the air was filled with appreciation, warmth, and inspiration. Artists left with not just memories, but meaningful connections and elevated portfolios. Visitors, meanwhile, carried the emotional resonance of red — the universal colour of energy, art, and life.
The closing moments of Khwab-e-Mussawiri: Season 2 – Scarlett Dreams symbolized exactly what Sagar’s Art Stream stands for — art beyond exhibitions, creativity beyond borders, and prestige beyond measure.
