    When an area is named after the legendary Kingdom of Lord Krishna; it has to be something very special. Today’s Dwarka is a developing urban area in South-West Delhi, but during the Mughal era when it was called Pappan Kallan. It has been found that some parts of Dwarka were under the jurisdiction of the Pappam Kallan Colony which is now getting a fresh lease of life with the DDA (Delhi Development Authority) giving a major facelift to the area under its ‘Urban Expansion Project’.

    • History Buried Under the Development: Recently, a historical step well or popularly known as Baoli has been discovered in Dwarka. It was constructed during the times of Lodi dynasty in early 16th century. The step well was developed for the residents of the Loharehri village and that’s why it is also known as Loharehri Baoli. This architectural gem of the Sultanate era was hidden by a jungle of Peepal trees. This Dwarka Baoli has been restored by the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH). Though it is not as significant as Agrasen ki baoli in terms of architecture and historical reference, it has the potentiality of becoming a popular tourist attraction in the near future.
    • Largest Suburb in Asia: Dwarka has been recognized as the largest suburb in Asia. The residential neighborhood is thriving due to its state-of-the-art infrastructure, close vicinity to cultural hubs, and contemporary amenities along with ample scopes for entertainment. Moreover, the area is located adjacent to Gurgaon, the IT hub of India and Indira Gandhi International Airport.     • Superb Transportation: Accessibility is the main feature of this sub-city. It is well connected through metro rail network and exceptionally well-designed road. The Airport Terminal 3 can be reached within 3 minutes via Dwarka Sector 21 Metro Station. Delhi Metro connects Dwarka with Noida, Ghaziabad, and Anand Vihar.
