As much as a mask is an absolute necessity in the Covid-19 times, it is advised and ruled out to wear it at all times when moving out of your house, but, quite often, and still Delhi-NCR residents are being caught not wearing a mask. Singhu, Auchandi, Lampur, Piao Maniyari, Mangesh borders are closed while National Highway 44 is closed on both sides, the Delhi traffic police said on Twitter. Take alternate routes via Safiabad, Saboli, NH8/Bhopra/Apsara borders or the peripheral expressway.
Tikri, Jharoda Borders are also closed for any traffic movement.
The Gazipur border on on NH 24 is closed for traffic from Ghaziabad to Delhi. People are advised to avoid National Highway 24 for coming to Delhi and use Apsara/Bhopra/DND for coming to Delhi.
The Chilla border on Noida link road is closed for traffic from Noida to Delhi near Gautam Budh Dwar. People are advised to avoid Noida link road for coming to Delhi and use the DND flyover.
“Farmers sitting on Chilla border road have blocked Noida to Delhi. We have diverted traffic towards the DND (Delhi Noida Direct) flyway, so the public should not face any inconvenience. We have diverted traffic to two-three different points, which are our inter-state border points,” Love Kumar, Additional CP (Law and Order), Noida told news agency ANI.

Crime Branch has busted a gang that was allegedly procuring toffees laced with THC from the US through the dark net and selling them mostly to college students.
The payments were made through Bitcoins and the consignments were received through couriers. A BCom student and a BBA graduate, in their early 20s, have been arrested. Cops have also seized a Honda City car, 50 gram malana charas, 100 gram THC toffees and 450 gram imported marijuana.
While one of the accused, Avinash Jain, is a resident of Vasant Kunj, his aide, a 25-year-old BBA graduate, has been identified as Shashank Gupta from Inderpuri.
ACP (crime) Shibesh Singh said his team had received information that some people were involved in illegal import of marijauna and other contraband items from the US and their supply across NCR. A tip-off was also received that Jain would go to supply marijuana to a contact. A trap was laid and both Jain and Gupta were arrested from Vasant Kunj in their car, Singh said.
